He has a talent for crafting intuitive floor plans which enable clients to move seamlessly through their new homes. Always central to his design process is a consciousness to stay aligned with construction budgets, guiding clients from their very first meeting on how to best capitalise on the vision for their new home, whilst staying true to their financial targets.

James has a particular interest in blending the original character of homes with sympathetically crafted new elements, making it impossible to discern where the old home ends and the new home begins. Where the brief is to honour the home’s original style and then overlay this with a new contemporary or modern edge, James ensures the result feels cohesive, intentional, and elegant.

Victoria brings a refined eye for materiality and a strong technical foundation to every MILEHAM project. With experience spanning residential, hospitality and commercial interiors, Victoria works closely with our architecture team to ensure the interior vision is fully resolved, thoroughly documented and faithfully built.

Victoria co-leads the execution of the vision, developing material palettes, guiding clients through finishes, fixtures and joinery decisions, and ensuring every interior selection sits naturally within the architectural intent. Her focus is on creating interiors that feel cohesive and considered, not assembled from isolated choices.

From Studio to Site

Victoria is equally comfortable in the studio and onsite. She prepares the detailed interior documentation and coordinates closely with MILEHAM’s construction team to make sure the design carries through to the build. It’s a quieter part of the process, but it’s where the quality is protected.

Victoria understands that beautiful interiors need to work within real-world parameters. She brings clear cost awareness to every selection phase, helping clients balance design ambition with financial discipline. Ian brings a calm, dependable presence to every MILEHAM project. With experience across joinery, carpentry and roofing, he combines strong technical knowledge with the professionalism required to deliver every home to a high standard.

Built on Practical Experience

Ian began his career in wood machining and joinery before progressing through several areas of residential carpentry and construction. This broad experience gives him a practical understanding of the entire build, from framing and roofing through to detailed finishing work.

Clear, Proactive Communication

Ian is renown for his considered and straightforward communication and consistent follow-through. He keeps clients informed, sets clear expectations and addresses issues early, while giving trades and suppliers the direction they need to keep your project moving.

Hands-On Leadership

As Site Manager, Ian leads the onsite execution of each project under his care, translating the project plans into high-quality construction. Working alongside his team, he applies his carpentry expertise while maintaining close oversight of workmanship, safety and progress onsite.

Ian leads by example, sets clear standards and takes responsibility for the quality of work delivered. His integrity, attention to detail and steady leadership gives clients confidence that their home is in capable hands.

Benji joined MILEHAM at the beginning of his apprenticeship, bringing with him the quiet confidence of someone who has always understood the value of being part of a team. Shaped by years of rugby, student leadership and community volunteering, Benji approaches each day with respect, energy and a genuine willingness to contribute.

For Benji, learning his trade is about more than ticking off skills. He enjoys learning about a skill or application first in concept, and then taking it to shape it into reality through his own hands onsite. He brings curiosity to new challenges, takes feedback on board and is always looking for ways to improve.
