Located on Sydney's leafy Lower North Shore, this family residence underwent a comprehensive renovation and extension to better suit the owners' passion for entertaining. Architecturally designed and then constructed by MILEHAM, this project focused on enhancing the home's functionality, aesthetic appeal, and connection to the outdoors.

Key to this transformation was the expansion of the kitchen, living, and dining areas into a cohesive open-plan layout, fostering seamless indoor-outdoor flow. This was achieved by reclaiming under-utilised external space and extending an existing steel beam within the roof cavity, which allowed for a more spacious and light-filled interior.

The renovation also included the addition of a home office, updated family bathroom, and modernised laundry, all designed to enhance daily living flow. The integration of travertine stone paving around the swimming pool further elevated the outdoor entertaining experience, providing a sophisticated transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.
