Grand Apartment Living

Nestled in Sydney’s beautiful Darling Point, this original 1920s Art Deco garden apartment underwent an internal renovation to harmoniously blend its historic charm with contemporary living. The project focused on revitalising the apartment's layout to embrace open-plan living, enhance natural light, and introduce spatial flow.

Key to the transformation was the careful preservation and replication of the apartment's original architectural features, ensuring a seamless integration between the old and new. The interiors were elevated with luxury finishes, including sisal flooring, custom wall-to-wall joinery for additional storage, and a refreshed main bathroom complemented by elegant wainscoting. Comprehensive electrical, painting, and decorating works were also undertaken to unify the apartment's aesthetic.

This award-winning renovation was recognised with the 2022 Master Builders Association Excellence in Housing Award for Home Unit Renovation, underscoring MILEHAM's commitment to excellence in design and construction.
