September 2023: Well this is a bit special!

On Saturday 16 September, MILEHAM won a Master Builders Association Excellence in Housing Award, taking out this award for the second year running.

Achieving a Master Builders Award is a remarkable feat for any Australian home building company. But earning this coveted award two years in a row adds a whole new level of special team pride.

Recognised for our Contemporary Heritage Restoration project, our client's brief was to seamlessly integrate the charm of the original heritage home with a contemporary external pavilion to create a flawless and modern transition between the indoor and outdoor living spaces. The MBA Award recognises how we successfully overcame numerous challenges in both construction and project management, including navigating the home's NSW Heritage Listing status, delicate remediation works, and the complexities of building on a sloping block.

Of this project, the MBA Awards Judging Panel said -

”The standout of this build was the flawless connection of a steel pavilion to the existing structure. As well as the inclusion of a fully imported kitchen, ordered in advance which added complexity to the project. Despite difficult access, and intricate dampness control measures ProBuilt Projects and the team at MILEHAM delivered a modern and seamless update of a heritage property.”

We are very proud to receive the MBA's recognition for this beautiful project, which is a testament to the talent and dedication of our MILEHAM Project Management team, and our partner-builder, ProBuilt Projects.
